Surge in West Bank Attacks Amid Restrictions on Gaza Aid

Tensions continued to escalate in the occupied Palestinian territories this week, as a series of violent attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank and the Israeli government's decision to further restrict aid to the Gaza Strip dampened the mood of an otherwise celebratory period for Palestinians.
West Bank Attacks Surge
In the West Bank, a sharp increase in settler violence has drawn international condemnation. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), there were at least 37 settler attacks against Palestinians this week, resulting in over 60 injuries and significant damage to property.
