Gasoline, Shelter, and Food Costs Lead the Way
The data shows that gasoline prices jumped 2.4% last month, while the cost of shelter, which includes rent, rose 0.7%. Food prices also climbed 0.5%, with the cost of groceries up 0.4% and dining out 0.6% more expensive.
