Surprise US Job Growth Defies Economic Turbulence

Unexpected job gains in healthcare and construction sectors despite Iran tensions and economic concerns, according to White House.
The United States unemployment rate has unexpectedly declined despite ongoing economic uncertainties and geopolitical tensions with Iran, according to the latest jobs report. The White House has stated that the March employment figures "blew out expectations" with notable gains made in the healthcare and construction sectors.
The data, released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, showed that the jobless rate fell to 3.8% in March, down from 4% in February. This marked the lowest unemployment level since 1969, defying predictions of a slowdown amid factors such as the unresolved trade war with China and the potential fallout from the Iran crisis.
