Tehran Holds Eid Prayers After Overnight Strikes on Capital

Thousands gather in Tehran for Eid al-Fitr prayers as funeral held for slain IRGC spokesman, following deadly airstrikes on the Iranian capital.
Tehran, Iran - Thousands of worshippers gathered in the streets of Tehran on Wednesday to observe Eid al-Fitr prayers, just hours after the capital was rocked by a series of overnight air strikes. The prayers came as a funeral was also held for a spokesman of Iran's powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), who was killed in the attacks.
The air strikes, which targeted several locations across Tehran, including the Parchin military complex east of the city, occurred late on Tuesday night. Iran's state media reported that at least four people were killed and 19 others injured in the strikes, which it blamed on Israel.
