TikTokers to Debut Streaming Series on Tubi in Landmark Partnership

Tubi and TikTok team up to launch 'Creatorverse Incubator', giving top TikTok stars a path to produce premium long-form content for Tubi's streaming platform.
Tubi and TikTok are joining forces to bring some of the video-sharing app's biggest stars to the small screen. The two platforms have announced a new Creatorverse Incubator program that will help TikTok creators develop original long-form series for Tubi's streaming service.
Under the initiative, a select group of top TikTok personalities will work closely with Tubi to produce a variety of new scripted and unscripted content, spanning genres like competition shows, dating series, and game shows. The goal is to give these creators a pathway to translate their massive online followings into premium streaming programming.

In a statement, Tubi said it plans to announce the first cohort of participants for the Creatorverse Incubator later this summer. The move marks a strategic shift for both platforms, as Tubi looks to leverage TikTok's vast creator network to drive new content, and TikTok seeks to expand its stars beyond the short-form video format.
"This partnership represents an exciting new frontier for both Tubi and TikTok creators," said Farhad Massoudi, Tubi's CEO. "By providing TikTok creators with the resources and support to develop premium long-form content, we're opening up new creative possibilities and giving their fans more ways to engage with the content and personalities they love."
The announcement comes as Tubi continues to position itself as a leading free, ad-supported streaming service. Fox Corporation acquired Tubi in 2020 for $440 million, and the platform has since grown to over 51 million monthly active users in the U.S. and Canada.
For TikTok, the partnership represents an opportunity to further monetize its creator ecosystem and translate its viral stars into longer-form, higher-budget productions. Many top TikTok creators have already begun experimenting with YouTube, podcasts, and other multimedia formats, and this deal with Tubi could open up even more avenues for them to expand their brands.
"TikTok creators have captivated audiences worldwide with their unique talents and perspectives," said Rich Waterworth, TikTok's General Manager for the U.S. and Canada. "This partnership with Tubi will give them an exciting new platform to share their creativity in long-form content formats, and we can't wait to see what they produce."
The Creatorverse Incubator is expected to be the first of many collaborations between Tubi and TikTok as both platforms seek to harness the power of short-form social video and translate it into premium streaming content.
