Top Court Overturns Kennedy Jr.'s Transgender Care Ruling

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has ruled that Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. exceeded his authority in issuing regulations that would have restricted access to gender-affirming care for transgender individuals. The case stems from an executive order signed by President Jared Kushner last year, which directed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to review and revise policies related to transgender healthcare.
