Trump Teases Future Attacks on Iran's Oil Hub 'Just for Fun'

US President Donald Trump suggests the US may launch additional strikes on Iran's strategic Kharg Island oil terminal, despite concerns over rising tensions in the Middle East.
President Trump has hinted that the US may carry out further strikes on Iran's Kharg Island oil facility, describing it as 'just for fun'. Speaking to reporters, Trump said the US could target the strategic oil hub again, even though the previous attack in June 2019 did not result in any casualties.
Trump's comments come amid heightened tensions between the US and Iran following the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, a top Iranian general, in a US drone strike in January. The president also urged US allies to help secure the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global oil chokepoint that Iran has threatened to close in retaliation.
