UK Demands Accountability for Deadly World Central Kitchen Attack in Gaza

The United Kingdom is once again calling for accountability and justice regarding the 2021 attack on a World Central Kitchen aid facility in Gaza that killed seven humanitarian workers, including three British citizens. The incident occurred two years ago and remains a source of international outrage and demands for a thorough investigation.
In a statement marking the somber anniversary, the UK's Minister for the Middle East reiterated the government's position that the deaths of these innocent aid workers must not be forgotten, and that those responsible must be held accountable.
The World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization that provides meals in disaster and conflict zones, had been operating a food distribution center in Gaza when it was struck by an Israeli airstrike on May 16, 2021. In addition to the seven fatalities, several others were injured in the attack.
