UK Households Struggle with Below-Average Energy Service

Citizens Advice warns that 14 million UK households are receiving poor customer service from their energy suppliers, with half of consumers served by low-rated providers.
UK households are facing a concerning issue with the quality of service provided by their energy suppliers, according to a new survey by Citizens Advice. The consumer group found that around 14 million households in the country are receiving below-average customer service from their gas and electricity providers.
The survey, which evaluated 16 different energy companies, revealed that half of all UK gas and electricity consumers are with suppliers that scored less than 3 out of 5 stars for their customer service. This troubling statistic highlights the need for significant improvements in the industry.
