UK Leader Reassures: No Iran Threat, Calls for Calm

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer affirms routine assessments show Britain not a target of Iran, urges de-escalation amidst global tensions.
London - In a statement aimed at quelling fears, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has asserted that routine security assessments have concluded the country is not a target of Iran amidst the heightened global tensions. Starmer's remarks come as a direct response to concerns over potential retaliation from Iran following the recent killing of a top Iranian military commander by the United States.
Starmer emphasized that the UK government is closely monitoring the situation and has not identified any specific threat to British interests. "We are in regular contact with our international partners and based on the latest assessments, I can say with confidence that the UK is not a target for Iran at this time," the Prime Minister told reporters.
