UK Pledges Support for Stability and Security in Syria at UN Security Council

The United Kingdom has reiterated its commitment to supporting the Syrian people and maintaining progress towards a more stable and secure future for the country. Speaking at a United Nations Security Council meeting on Syria, Ambassador James Kariuki, the UK's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, emphasized the importance of sustained efforts to address the ongoing challenges in the region.
In his remarks, Ambassador Kariuki acknowledged the progress that has been made in Syria, including the reduction in violence and the delivery of humanitarian aid. However, he stressed that much work remains to be done to ensure the long-term stability and security of the country. "We must do all we can to maintain the momentum towards a more stable and secure future for the Syrian people," he said.
