UKAEA-Eni's Tritium Research Facility Expands Global Collaboration

Canada's Kinectrics joins UKAEA-Eni's H3AT Tritium Loop Facility, a cutting-edge tritium research hub, as the new design and fabrication partner.
The United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) and Eni, the Italian multinational oil and gas company, have expanded their international partnership with the addition of Kinectrics, a Canadian engineering and testing company, as the new design and fabrication partner for their groundbreaking H3AT Tritium Loop Facility.
The H3AT Tritium Loop Facility, located in Culham, Oxfordshire, UK, is a world-leading research hub dedicated to the study and advancement of tritium technology. Tritium, a radioactive isotope of hydrogen, plays a crucial role in the development of fusion energy, a promising clean energy source that replicates the processes powering the sun and stars.
