Ukraine Offers Saudi Arabia Drone-Intercepting Tech to Counter Iran

As the US and Gulf nations deplete their Patriot missile stocks, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy proposes low-cost drone interceptors to help Saudi Arabia counter Iranian UAV threats.
Kyiv - In a strategic move to gain leverage on the global stage, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reached out to Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) with an offer of assistance in countering the threat of Iranian drones.
The conflict in Ukraine has seen a proliferation of low-cost, yet highly effective drone technologies employed by both sides, and Zelenskyy believes that Ukraine's expertise in this area could provide a valuable solution to the Gulf nation's own challenges with Iranian-supplied unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
As the United States and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries continue to burn through their stockpiles of Patriot missile systems in attempts to intercept the Iranian drones, Zelenskyy is offering a more cost-effective and potentially more agile alternative - Ukraine's domestically-developed drone interceptors.
