United Nations - In a scathing rebuke, Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir-Saeid Iravani, has denounced the recent US-Israeli military strikes across Iran as nothing short of 'war crimes'. The ambassador's comments come amidst escalating tensions between Iran and the West, as the two sides continue to clash over a range of geopolitical and security issues.
Iravani, in a statement to the UN General Assembly, condemned the air raids and ground incursions carried out by US and Israeli forces in various parts of the country. He accused the two allies of deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure and violating Iran's territorial sovereignty.
