Unlikely Allies Unite in Secret AI Resistance Movement

Prominent figures from across the political spectrum gather in New Orleans to launch a new pro-human AI initiative, overcoming deep divisions to tackle the challenges of emerging technologies.
In a surprising display of unity, a diverse group of 90 political, community, and thought leaders recently convened in a secret conference in New Orleans to discuss the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and chart a course for a pro-human AI movement. Representing a wide range of ideological backgrounds, from progressive activists to conservative academics, the attendees came together to address the growing concerns around the societal impact of advanced AI technologies.
The conference, organized by the Future of Life Institute (FLI), was designed to bring together unlikely allies in an effort to ensure that AI development aligns with human values and interests. Church leaders, labor union representatives, and MAGA-aligned political figures found themselves in the same room, breathing the same air and engaging in frank discussions about the challenges and opportunities presented by AI.
