US-Israeli Strikes Devastate Iran's Missile Arsenal, Analysts Say
Experts claim US and Israeli operations have destroyed most of Iran's ballistic missile capabilities, dealing a major blow to the Islamic Republic's military power.
A series of covert US and Israeli operations have succeeded in taking out the vast majority of Iran's ballistic missile capability, according to military analysts and intelligence officials. The sustained campaign of sabotage, cyberattacks, and targeted strikes has reportedly decimated Iran's missile program, leaving the Islamic Republic with only a fraction of its previous arsenal.
The coordinated efforts between the US and Israel have significantly degraded Iran's ability to threaten its regional neighbors and project power throughout the Middle East, the officials said. While Iran still maintains some ballistic missile capacity, its overall deterrent capabilities have been severely diminished as a result of the sustained pressure campaign.
The attacks have targeted key Iranian missile production facilities, storage depots, and research centers, according to intelligence sources. Cyberoperations have also played a major role, disrupting Iran's command and control systems and sabotaging the country's ballistic missile development.
While Iran has vowed to retaliate for the crippling blows to its missile arsenal, the Islamic Republic's capacity for retaliation has been significantly reduced, the officials said. Iran's deterrent capabilities have been severely degraded, limiting its ability to threaten or retaliate against its regional adversaries.
