Plot Overview

Our protagonist isn't your typical grim reaper. Death is a cultured, conscientious fellow who takes his work seriously and follows "the plan" with unwavering dedication. His carefully ordered existence takes an unexpected turn when he appears beside a frozen lake where a young woman named Leonie is figure skating. Sensing danger, Death makes an impulsive decision—he shouts her name and saves her from falling through the ice. Now faced with the consequences of his intervention and unsure how to proceed, Death seeks guidance from his friend Tom at a local bar, setting in motion a narrative that challenges everything Death thought he understood about his purpose.
