Young Job Seekers Eager to Join PwC's Growing Graduate Program

PwC plans to expand its graduate hiring after last year's intake cuts, says UK boss Marco Amitrano. The consulting firm sees strong demand from 'hungry' young recruits seeking promising careers.
PwC, one of the world's largest professional services firms, is seeing strong demand from young job seekers eager to join its graduate program, according to the company's UK boss Marco Amitrano. After cutting graduate intake last year due to the pandemic, PwC now plans to ramp up hiring of university graduates again.
Speaking to the Financial Times, Amitrano said the consulting firm is witnessing a surge of interest from 'hungry' young people who view a PwC career as a promising path. 'What we are seeing is a hunger from graduates to join the profession,' Amitrano explained. 'They see it as a springboard to a successful career.'
