Young Men in US Finding Religion More Important, Survey Shows

Gallup survey finds that 42% of US men aged 18-29 now consider religion very important, a significant rise from 28% just a few years ago.
According to the latest findings from a Gallup survey, young men in the United States are now more likely than their female counterparts to view religion as a central part of their lives. The data, covering the years 2024-2025, indicates that 42% of men ages 18 to 29 describe religion as very important to them, a significant increase from just 28% in 2022-2023. In contrast, young women's responses have remained largely unchanged over the same period, holding at roughly 30%.
This shift represents a notable divergence in the religious attitudes of young men and women in the US. While religion has traditionally been seen as more important to women, the Gallup survey suggests that this gap is now closing, with a growing number of young men placing a higher value on faith and spirituality.
