Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has criticized Russia for responding to his offer of an Easter truce with airstrikes and drone attacks. The Ukrainian leader said he had spoken to US negotiators about declaring a ceasefire over the Easter holiday, but Russian forces fired more than 700 drones, many of them Iranian-designed Shaheds, targeting parts of western and central Ukraine in a rare daytime assault.
