However, Albanese warned that the conflict in the Middle East would have 'a long tail', predicting a 'difficult period ahead'. He acknowledged the substantial damage in the Gulf and the consequences that will last for at least months.
Albanese emphasized the relationship of trust between Australia and Singapore, stating that 'we can rely upon each other' during these challenging times. He noted that it is in the mutual interest of both countries to engage with each other and ensure they are reliable suppliers.
