Drone Strikes Escalate Tensions in the Middle East

Iran's IRGC claims responsibility for drone attacks targeting Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, as they continue strikes on US assets in the Gulf region.
Hundreds of drones have been used to target locations in Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran. The IRGC has stated that these attacks are among its 'first powerful steps' as it continues its strikes on US assets in the Gulf countries.
The drone strikes come amid rising tensions in the region, with Iran and the US engaged in a tense standoff. The IRGC has vowed to continue targeting US interests in the Gulf, in retaliation for the killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani by a US drone strike in 2020.
