Furious Iraqis Besiege Kuwaiti Consulate After Deadly Attack

Tensions are running high in Iraq as crowds of angry protesters have stormed the Kuwaiti consulate building in the city of Basra. The demonstrators, outraged over a recent deadly rocket attack, descended on the diplomatic outpost, chanting slogans and demanding accountability.
The Deadly Rocket Strike
The catalyst for the protests was a rocket attack that struck near the Kuwaiti border, killing at least three people and injuring dozens more. Iraqi officials have not yet determined the origin of the rockets, but suspicions are swirling that the assault may have been launched from across the border in Kuwait.
Protesters Descend on Kuwaiti Consulate
Furious over the loss of life, protesters swarmed the Kuwaiti consulate, breaching the outer walls and entering the compound. Security forces attempted to disperse the crowds, but the demonstrators refused to back down, chanting anti-Kuwait slogans and demanding justice for the victims.
