Ice Cube's 'War of the Worlds' Reboot Crashes at Razzie Awards

The sci-fi satire starring Ice Cube sweeps the 46th Razzie Awards, winning Worst Picture, Worst Actor, and other dubious honors for its abysmal take on the H.G. Wells classic.
Ice Cube's latest venture into the world of sci-fi has landed him at the center of the Razzie Awards' spotlight, and not in a good way. The surveillance industry version of H.G. Wells' 1898 classic novel War of the Worlds has sunk to the bottom, cleaning up at the 46th Annual Golden Raspberry Awards.
The Razzies, as they're affectionately known, are a parody of the prestigious Academy Awards, honoring the worst in cinematic achievement. And this year, Ice Cube's War of the Worlds took home the dubious honors of Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Director, and more.
