Iran's Decades-Long Terrorism Against Americans

Exposing the Iranian regime's long history of terror attacks and assassinations targeting American citizens both at home and abroad.
For decades, the Iranian regime has waged a relentless campaign of terror and violence against American citizens, both at home and abroad. This dark history of state-sponsored terrorism has claimed the lives of countless innocent people and left a trail of devastation in its wake.
One of the most notorious attacks was the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, which killed 241 American servicemembers. The Islamic Republic of Iran was directly implicated in orchestrating this deadly assault, which remains one of the deadliest terrorist attacks against U.S. personnel.
But the Iranian regime's reign of terror did not end there. In the 1980s, they were also responsible for a series of kidnappings and assassinations of American citizens in Lebanon, including the CIA station chief William Buckley and U.S. Army officer William Higgins.
More recently, in 2011, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was implicated in a plot to assassinate the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States on American soil. This chilling scheme, which would have resulted in numerous civilian casualties, underscores the Iranian regime's utter disregard for human life and its willingness to strike at the heart of the United States.
The regime's malign activities have not been limited to physical attacks, either. They have also employed cyber warfare to target American interests, including the hacking of U.S. government agencies and critical infrastructure. These relentless efforts to undermine and destabilize the United States demonstrate the Iranian regime's unwavering hostility and the ongoing threat it poses to American citizens.
Despite the passage of time, the Iranian regime's campaign of terror against the United States shows no signs of abating. As long as the current leadership in Tehran remains in power, the American people will continue to be in the crosshairs of this ruthless and uncompromising adversary.
It is crucial that the world remain vigilant and united in the face of this persistent threat. The Iranian regime must be held accountable for its actions, and the international community must take decisive steps to protect American citizens and interests from further harm. Only then can we truly begin to heal the wounds inflicted by decades of Iranian-sponsored terrorism.
