Ambulance workers in Lebanon describe the harrowing details of Israeli airstrikes that killed four paramedics and wounded six in a 'triple-tap' attack.
Ambulance workers in south Lebanon have recounted the terrifying details of an Israeli 'triple-tap' attack that killed four paramedics and wounded six others. The devastating incident, which occurred in the town of Al-Quleili, has shed light on the dangers faced by emergency responders in conflict zones.
According to eyewitness accounts, the initial airstrike hit an ambulance responding to a previous incident, killing two paramedics instantly. As their colleagues rushed to the scene to provide aid, a second missile struck, claiming two more lives. The final blow came as a third missile targeted the same location, further injuring six emergency workers.
"It was a coordinated attack, a triple-tap," said Elias Farhat, the head of the local Red Cross branch. "They wanted to target the ambulance and the emergency workers who came to help."
