The attack on the Yasuf mosque is part of a broader trend of escalating aggression by Israeli settlers against Palestinian people and property in the occupied West Bank. Over the past year, settler vandalism, physical assaults, and even killings of Palestinians have increased dramatically, often with little to no accountability from Israeli authorities.
