Staggering Costs: $3.7B in 100 Hours for Potential War with Iran

New report reveals the immense financial burden a conflict with Iran would place on the US, with most expenses not budgeted for, requiring urgent Pentagon funding requests.
A new report from a prominent think tank has shed light on the immense financial toll a potential war with Iran could have on the United States. According to the findings, the initial 100 hours of such a conflict would cost the US government a staggering $3.7 billion.
The report, authored by researchers at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), examines the projected costs that would be incurred by the US military in the first stages of a confrontation with Iran. Most of these expenses have not been budgeted for, meaning the Pentagon would need to request additional funding from Congress in the near future to cover these unexpected costs.
