Suffolk Protesters Arrested for Alleged Support of Palestine Action Group

Seven individuals were apprehended at a peace protest outside RAF Lakenheath airbase in Suffolk, suspected of backing the banned Palestine Action group.
Suffolk authorities have arrested seven protesters on suspicion of supporting the banned Palestine Action group during a demonstration outside the RAF Lakenheath airbase. The protesters had joined a Lakenheath Alliance for Peace encampment, which was established to block the main gate of the military facility.
The arrests occurred on Sunday morning, as the activists participated in the peaceful protest. Palestine Action, a pro-Palestinian organization, has faced legal restrictions in the UK due to its alleged involvement in direct action campaigns targeting companies with ties to the Israeli defense industry.
