UK Backing for OCEEA's Ukraine, Governance and Climate Initiatives

UK commits support for OCEEA's efforts on environmental recovery, good governance and anti-money laundering amid impact of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The United Kingdom has affirmed its backing for the priorities of the Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA), as the organization navigates the challenges posed by Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine. In a statement to the OSCE, UK Chargé d'Affaires and Deputy Ambassador James Ford highlighted the UK's support for the OCEEA's work in key areas such as environmental recovery, good governance, and anti-money laundering efforts.
The OCEEA plays a crucial role in addressing the wide-ranging economic and environmental consequences of the conflict in Ukraine. As the humanitarian and ecological fallout of the Russian invasion continues to unfold, the OCEEA has been at the forefront of coordinating international efforts to mitigate the damage and lay the groundwork for long-term recovery.
