Ukraine's Zelensky Blasts US Waiver for Russian Energy Sanctions

Ukraine's President Zelensky strongly condemns the US decision to extend a waiver allowing some Russian energy exports, despite the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has sharply criticized the United States for extending a sanctions waiver that allows Russia to continue exporting some of its oil and gas to global markets. The waiver, which was set to expire, was extended by the Biden administration, arguing it was necessary to ease the energy supply crunch sparked by the ongoing US-Iran military conflict.
However, Zelensky condemned the move, stating that it sends the wrong message to Moscow and undermines efforts to punish Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.
