Vice President Vance Warns Iran Not to Test the US in Conflict Talks
As VP Vance departs for crucial negotiations, he cautions Iran against attempting to manipulate the US in efforts to end the ongoing war between the nations.
Vice President JD Vance is warning Iran not to "play" the U.S. as he heads for negotiations aimed at ending their war. President Donald Trump has tasked the member of his inner circle who's seemed to be the most reluctant defender of the 6-week-old conflict to lead the high-stakes talks.
In his final remarks before departing for the diplomatic mission, Vance struck a firm tone, making it clear that Iran should not attempt to manipulate or outwit the American negotiators. "Iran needs to understand that we are not going to be played," he stated. "This is a serious conflict with serious consequences, and they need to come to the table ready to make real compromises for peace."
